Steve Dawes cruised to a comfortable victory using the race as a steady run out before the forthcoming Reading Half Marathon where he will be looking to go inside 70 minutes for the first time.. Martine Scholes took the womens title ahead of Louise Perrio who like Dawes was using the race as a controlled effort run in preparation for Reading.
Veteran Dave Dyke was second across the line with relative new-comer Dave Crosland sneaking inside the 1 hour barrier.
