Race 3 Fauxquets Valley

Steve Dawes took control of the 2004 Jones and Partners Cross Country league with a well paced victory in the third race of the series.

With Lee Merrien absent from the start line Dawes soon drew clear of Dave Dyke and ran a controlled race to win the 6 lap/ 6.6 mile event in 39minutes 15 seconds. Dyke narrowly failed to break 40 minutes but was over a minute and a half clear of third placed Tim Coates.

eading woman Louise Perrio pipped Nick Loveridge to win the 4.4 mile Division 3 and 4 race and then went on to complete a further two laps and place an impressive 7th in the main race.
