GIAAC Trinity Trophy
L'Ancresse
27th April 2003

The new formula for the GIAAC's Trinity trophy proved popular with 8 teams starting the 3 by 1.25 mile cross country relay. A fast last leg by Steve Dawes, who clocked the fastest run of the day with a clocking of 6 minutes 14 seconds bought his team home with a two minute lead. Earlier Tim Hyde and Daniel Carre had both run solid legs to hand the baton to Dawes only nine seconds behind Millie White.

Behind the runaway leaders the racing was much closer with Dave Dyke bringing his team home in second place ahead of the teams of Paul Ingrouille, Gordon Mercier and Mike Doyle who, in a blanket finish, crossed the line separated by only two seconds.
