GIAAC Jones and Partners 2002 Winter League
Race 3 - Grandes Rocques to Pembroke 4.8 miles

The third race of the series saw Steve Dawes score his second League victory and tighten his grip on Division One of the Jones and Partners 2002 Winter League.

Veteran Gordon Mercier maintained his challenge for the title but was no match for Dawes over the 4.8 Mile Coastal path race from Grandes Rocques to Pembroke. Dawes competed the course in 29 minutes 27 seconds, nearly a minute and a half faster than Mercier. Keith Gallienne was a further 29 seocns back in third.

Married the day before Tracey Queripel obviously had more important things on her itinerary and in her absence Carloline Wickham was leading woman but, with runners allowed to discard their weakest race, Queripel still heads Division 3.
