Festival details

Spend the Easter holiday in the Guernsey, as usual we have four different types of races on offer:

  • 10km road race - super fast course
  • 4¾ mile cross country -  A Guernsey classic featuring common land and coastal path
  • 4 x 2 miles team cross country relay - more L'Ancresse Common action on an improved "Stonecrusher" course for 2010
  • Half Marathon - another flat and fast road course

Competitors can enter as many of the races as they wish but only athletes completing all four races will be eligible for overall prizes. Prizes are also awarded for each race - Over £2,000 in cash prizes!

Races for u7's to u17's  There are also races every day for young athletes - please click here for a separate entry form.

Improved XC Relay Course - The Stonecrusher Course. We listened to your feedback and for 2010 we have improved the Stonecrusher XC relay course. Based at an alternative part of the L'Ancresse Common the course features loops that bring the athletes closer to the start and finish area so you can better see how the race is progressing. Car parking is available at the L'Ancresse Bay car parks.

Teams for the relay can be male, female or mixed and can be constituted from athletes belonging to any club - composite teams are assembled over the weekend for athletes not travelling as part of a group.

Travel to the island is easy through airlines and ferry companies listed below, accommodation options can be investigated through the Visit Guernsey website.  You are advised to book early as Easter is a very popular time for visiting Guernsey. As well as the Easter runs there are other sporting events taking place at the same time including cycling, hockey and motor sport.

Entry is open to athletes of all standards and everybody is made welcome, the festival has gained a good reputation for its good quality of competition from the front of the field down through the different standards. To enter complete and return the entry form overleaf and you will be sent your race numbers plus full details of the races and social events that we have organised over the weekend.

Important Note : The start time of the Half Marathon is 9:00am.
