About 400mtrs before the L'Islet cross roads the race takes a left turn into the lane
heading towards Picquerel Point, and re-joins the coast road on Route de L'Islet. The race takes another left turn into
Cote des Amarreurs and follows the road until its junction with La route de L'Ancresse.
The race turns tight and heads back towards
Vale Church, turning right into L'Abbaye/Route de L'Islet. Shortly after the church turn left into Sandy Hook and at the end turn right
into Les Piettes Mielles. Follow this road straight through the L'Islet cross roads and head back to Rovers Athletics Club along the coast road.

Parking is available at a number of car parks adjacent the new start / finish
area but is likely to be quite busy. The parking by the La Mirage beach
cafe overlooking Pembroke Bay is about half a mile from the start finish area.
The course has been updated and has been tested on a number of local events.
The most significant change is that the start / finish area has been moved in
addition to some detail changes. Most of the course is on the common
grassland with one section on the stone dust coastal path. It is suitable
for spikes and as the underlying ground is sandy and well drained and it is not
generally muddy. Short spikes are advisable - the coastal path section will be
the firmest section. The common ground has many rabbit holes and un-even
sections so care should be taken, we will be attempting to fill in some of the
rabbit holes in the start finish area. The course map is here.
